The Aurelius Athletic Grounds serve students from both Courts. Although daytime and nocturnal schedules require separate training periods for many activities, selected sports, training sessions and Academy teams include athletes from both Crown and Thorn.

FENCING

Fencing is one of Saint Aurelius Academy’s longest-established competitive disciplines. Training focuses on foil, épée and sabre, with students competing individually and as Academy representatives.

BALLET & CLASSICAL DANCE

The Saint Aurelius Ballet Conservatory provides intensive classical training alongside the Academy’s broader academic programme. Students train in ballet, partnering, choreography, conditioning and performance.

TRACK & FIELD

The Academy track programme includes sprinting, middle- and long-distance running, hurdles, jumps and field disciplines.

Saint Aurelius maintains competitive singles and doubles programmes, with training scheduled across both Crown and Thorn Court active hours.

RUGBY

Rugby is one of the Academy’s principal team sports, with training and representative fixtures conducted across the main training fields.

Academy crews train from the Boathouse along designated waters surrounding Vesper Island. Rowing combines technical precision, endurance and coordinated crew competition.

Football is played across the Academy’s principal training fields, with competitive squads representing Saint Aurelius in external fixtures.

Integrated Participation

Crown and Thorn students may train on different schedules corresponding to daytime and nocturnal hours, but selected training sessions overlap across shared facilities.

Some Academy representative teams include athletes from both Courts.

Students represent Saint Aurelius Academy, not opposing Crown and Thorn factions. The Courts are not rival sports houses.
